Tribute to....AUDREY HEPBURN!

come state? ho deciso di dedicare il post di oggi ad una grande icona di stile: la fantastica Audrey Hepburn!

Good morning darling!

How are you? I decide to dedicate the post of today to a great style icon: the fastastic Audrey Hepburn!

Io e Audrey al Madame Tussaud di Londra ;)

Introversa, sottile, regale...così la definiva il New York Times nel 1963 dopo l'interpretazione della Pricipessa Anna....intramontabile, sognante, romantica e una vera icona della moda, la definiamo noi a più di mezzo secolo dalla sua comparsa sugli schermi cinematografici e a 18 anni dalla sua scomparsa.

Non stanca mai il suo fascino semplice ed al tempo stesso elegantissimo!

Little black dress e perle: una combinazione perfetta diventata un  MUST HAVE dei nostri guardaroba!

...e quei tagli anni cinquanta poi, così puliti, così ispiranti che ritornano e che hanno spesso segnato lo stile e le collezioni di molti affermati stilisti.


Ho deciso di dedicare questo post a Audrey per omaggiare il 50° anniversario di uno dei  film che adoro di più: "Colazione da Tiffany" capolavoro di Blacke Edwards che torna a risplendere nelle sale cinematografiche in versione restaurata (per chi fosse di Prato e dintorni stasera potrà vederlo nelle sale del Multiplex).


Vi comunico inoltre che presso l'Ara Pacis di Roma dal 26 Ottobre al 4 Dicembre si terrà un mostra dedicata a Audrey e alle sue numerose permanenze a Roma tra gli anni '50 e '70.

Introverted, thin, royal...she was defined in this way by the New York Times in 1963 after her interpretation of Princess Anna...timeless, romantic, dreamy and a real fashion icon...she is defined in this way by us more than half a century to her appearance on movie screens and 18 years after her death.

Never tires of her charm at the same time simple and elegant!

...and those cuts fifty years later, so clean, so inspiring that come back and have often market the style andthe collections of many leading designers.

Hi decided to  dedicate this post to pay homage to Audrey for the 50 th anniversary of one of the movies I love most: "Breakfast at Tiffany's" mastepiece of Blacke Edwards returns to shine in the cinemas in the restored version (for those who are in Prato and outlying area tonight will see him in the halls of the Multiplex).

I inform you also that at the Ara Pacis in Rome from 26 October to 4 Dicember there there will be an exhibition dedicated to Audrey and her many stays in Rome  between the '50 and '70.
